Schubert, William H.
Professor de Currículo e Instrução no Colégio de Educação da University of Illinois, Chicago. Em 2004, foi galardoado com o Lifetime Achievement Award pelo seu pertinente e singular contributo ao campo do currículo pela American Educational Research Association. Foi Presidente da Society for the Study of Curriculum History, Society of Professors of Education e da John Dewey Society. É membro do Professors of Curriculum e coordenador da American Educational Research Association Special Interest Group on Critical Issues in Curriculum. É autor de livros e de inúmeros artigos, capítulos em livros, recensões e outros trabalhos, entre os quais se destacam Curriculum: Perspective, Paradigm, and Possibility (1985); The American Curriculum (1994); Reflections from the Heart of Curriculum Inquiry: Understanding Curriculum and Teaching Through the Arts (2000); Curriculum Books: The First Hundred Years (2002).
